Twitch streamer Nick “Lacy” has expressed his dissatisfaction with his fans after they allegedly ordered food worth $12,000 at a restaurant in Japan. At the five-hour-19-minute mark of the livestream on October 28, 2026, while dining at a restaurant, an employee approached him and asked if he was aware of the food he had ordered.
The individual also informed him that his bill had surpassed ¥500,000:
“Do you know what you ordered? Because the bill has already surpassed ¥ 500,000. Yeah. This is the final…”
A few moments later, TheCoreBoys-affiliated personality claimed that he had to pay “almost $12,000” because his audience thought “it would be funny to order a bunch of food.”
He elaborated:
“So he comes over with one receipt -¥500,000 – I thought I was done. Comes over with two more; turned out it was ¥1.6 million that you guys ordered in food. And then they come out with 15 plates of food that just had to go to waste. So that poor restaurant just had to cook ¥1.5 million worth of food, and I just had to pay, like, almost a $12,000 bill because you guys thought it would be funny to order a bunch of food.”
“That was weird” – Lacy says he’s “really upset” with his fans after they allegedly ordered “a bunch of food” at a restaurant in Japan
Before ending the IRL livestream, Lacy voiced his discontent with his live audience’s alleged actions, calling it “weird” and saying that he was “really upset”:
“‘Why not hand out the food?’ That’s what I told them. I literally told them in the restaurant, I said, ‘I’ll pay for it. Sorry about that. You can hand out the food to all the families here.’ So they just started handing out all the food to families, and I paid 12 grand USD for the food you guys thought would be funny to order. I’ve never seen anything like that. That was weird. I’m really upset right now.”

Furthermore, the Twitch streamer claimed that the restaurant owner “kept letting the orders go through” because he couldn’t understand him due to a language barrier:
“‘Didn’t you say no more?’ Yeah, but the owner didn’t understand what I was saying because he didn’t speak English. So he kept letting the orders go through.”
Lacy made headlines on August 25, 2026, when he got embroiled in a social media conflict with controversial internet personality Tyler “TJR Trades” J. Riches.
