Kevin Durant‘s name has resurfaced in burner-account rumors. On Thursday, fans accused an X account with the username UKD of belonging to the Rockets star after the user was found engaging in online banter with hoop fans.
Fans reshared a tweet in which UKD questioned the Thunder’s 2012 decision to trade James Harden.
Thanks for the submission!
“Lol, KD just can’t stop with the burner accounts lol – this is exactly why we don’t need to honor him. 🐍,” one fan said.

“Found Kevin’s new burner 😂,” another fan commented.
“This is definitely a KD burner. The use of double question marks, ‘u’ instead of ‘you,’ and not knowing the difference between ‘you’re’ and ‘your.’ 😭😭✌🏽,” another fan quipped.
More fans joined the bandwagon:
“Burner with 20 tweets almost exclusively about KD,” one fan commented.
“People forgot about KD’s burner too fast. We’re not gonna just let this slide lmfaoo,” another fan commented.
“KD burner get caught again??” another fan said.
In February, Durant was accused of using a burner account to defend himself on social media, talk trash about his teammates and other NBA players. The two-time champion, however, dismissed the claims as Twitter nonsense.
“It’s all love in here”: Kevin Durant makes peace with the reporter after viral back-and-forth
Kevin Durant made peace with a reporter after their earlier confrontation went viral. Following a 117-107 loss to the Timberwolves on Wednesday, Durant attended a postgame conference, where he made peace with Houston Chronicle beat reporter Varun Shankar before the session began.
“It’s all love in here,” Durant said. “It’s supposed to be a family atmosphere, right? We go back and forth. Can we not? Make sure your minions online know that. I got attacked. You got popular the last couple days. You got a lot of fans off of that.”
After the Rockets’ 109-93 win over the Celtics on Monday, Shankar had questioned Durant on taking only six shots on the night. Durant clapped back at the reporter, accusing him of singling him out.
“Why does that matter to you? We won the game,” Durant said. “Why are you singling me out? (Jabari Smith Jr.) had 30 last game and only had 14 tonight. Are you going to talk about his variety?”
The back-and-forth went viral on social media and the reporter got a huge boost to his following on social media.
