Angel Reese Did Not Want to Disappoint the Fans
Amid the scheduling issues, Angel Reese and the Dream wanted to make sure the fans’ time at the WNBA Finals would be worth it. They put on a show to force a Game 7 and not disappoint the fans who came to the 12:30 p.m. game.
“Every time we threw the first punch, we won the game. So, just being able to set the tone early, we ain’t have everybody come out at 12:30 for no reason,” Reese said. “We appreciate the fan support on a weekday. They came out and supported us, every single day. So, we wanted to make sure we ended this right here.”
Game 7 will be at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, on Saturday. Angel Reese and the Dream will need the full support of their fans to complete the job.
