Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh gives his verdict on Mike McDaniel’s play-calling role
Amid the Chargers’ offensive woes, there have been growing concerns over offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel’s play-calling duties. However, Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh said that McDaniel will continue calling plays.
“Yes,” Harbaugh said. “Not going to address anything. I’m focused on this game, and that’s my focus.”
The Chargers coach also said that he believes in his players and his coaching staff and vowed to “fix” things for the team.
“Yeah, our motivation is dedication to getting it. To getting it changed, to getting it fixed,” Harbaugh said. “I said I’m focused on this game. I will go watch this tape. And I believe in our guys. I believe in our players, our coaches, and, yeah, it’s us who are the ones that the challenge is with, and we’re the ones that, we’re the only ones that can fix it.”
All eyes will be on the Chargers’ offensive coordinator when they host the Houston Texans next Sunday.
