Fans claimed AEW President Tony Khan fumbled a former All Elite star after he picked up a major victory on RAW. Ethan Page signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2021. He was a huge star when he arrived in the company. However, within just a few months, he got lost in the shuffle. Until 2024, he was never pushed as a top star. He left the promotion after three years.
The All Ego star then joined NXT and became a multi-time champion on the brand. Earlier this year, he joined RAW and impressed many fans. For the past few months, he has been after Chad Gable and his Intercontinental Championship. Despite challenging him multiple times, Gable couldn’t hand him a title shot in a one-on-one contest.
However, on tonight’s RAW, Ethan Page got one. The two had a great match. Shockingly, Page defeated Chad Gable in a nail-biting bout and is the new Intercontinental Champion.
Fans immediately called out Tony Khan on social media for pushing Ethan Page when he had the chance to do it. They believed the AEW President fumbled the great talent.

The reigning Intercontinental Champion wasn’t utilised properly in the Jacksonville-based promotion. He was introduced in different factions every now and then that went nowhere, and therefore he couldn’t do anything significant in his three-year run.
While speaking on Talk’N Shop, Ethan Page deemed All Elite Wrestling as ‘chaotic and unorganised’ in a statement following his exit from AEW. All Ego also claimed that he is happy to be part of WWE as he doesn’t have to do everything.
“I went from somewhere that was so chaotic and unorganized to a place that, I mean I’m still learning because I’m still so new here, but this is a machine and it’s incredible. It feels good to not feel like I have to do everything myself. To have people that want to see me succeed is kind of mind blowing,” he said.
It remains to be seen what is next for the newly crowned champion.
