On Halloween night 2026, Plaqueboymax and his crew dressed up as stereotypical white men and did voice/mannerism impressions on a Twitch livestream. Industry members, including Adin Ross and Ricky “Banks,” reacted, sharing their thoughts on the cultural impact of dressing up as a different race. For context, Ricky and Max were both in FaZe Clan until they left in 2025.
Ultimately, FaZe Clan’s content creation division officially ended around December 25-27, 2025, after key creators left in a mass exodus and the content arm shut down. Since then, there has been tension between Plaqueboymax and Banks, with the two criticizing each other online. Notably, during the exodus, Ricky claimed Max had an “ego.”
Now, the most recent bit of drama happened after Adin Ross reacted to Max’s Halloween costume. For context, here’s what Adin said about his fellow streamer’s costume choice:
“This is hilarious… what if me, Cheesur, Konvy, bro, we all do blackface? I ain’t gon’ lie, that might be a banger stream, chat… If they can do it, I can do it!”
In reaction, Plaqueboymax said:
“Adin, you confuse me, bruh. You deeply confuse me. A lot of your success is rooted in Black culture. My question is, why don’t you respect Black culture?”
Then, during a recent stream, Banks suggested Max does not respect “white culture”:
“This is a self-report. You’re saying you don’t respect White culture, or white people. Because if him doing blackface equals disrespecting Black culture, then you doing whiteface equals disrespecting White culture.”
“You were supposed to be the next Kai Cenat”: Banks goes off on Plaqueboymax
After Max briefly mentioned Ricky in his Halloween stream, the latter reacted, speaking about the clips he sees of Plaqueboymax:
“This is the only way you can get views now… All I see clips of you is bull**** like this. It’s you crying on stream, you saying outlandish, delusional, ****, and people clowning you and trashing your music, or **** like this, doing whiteface. What the **** are you doing?”
He then said Max was “supposed to be the next Kai Cenat”:
“You were supposed to be the next Kai Cenat. You were supposed to be one of the biggest, greatest streamers of all time.”
In another segment, he touched on Max’s dream to perform at the Super Bowl, suggesting that the streamer would never fulfill his dream:
“Talking about you’re gonna do the halftime show… Max, on everything I love, if you ever perform the halftime show, in our lifetime… I will get ‘5STAR PLAQUEBOYMAX’ tattooed across the middle of my face in big, blocky, bold bubble letters.”
In other news, Plaqueboymax said people “gotta be nicer” to RaKai, as Kai Cenat’s friend faced backlash from the Spanish-speaking community.
