Tennessee death row inmate Christa Pike is in hospital after surviving two lethal injection attempts. According to Pike’s attorney, she is alive and “receiving life-saving medical care” in hospital.
Tennesseean Governor Bill Lee says a review into what happened has been ordered and executions in the state have been halted for the rest of the year.
