WWE appears to be making new plans for Crown Jewel 2026 amid the recent uncertainty surrounding the event’s venue and preparations.
According to False Finish HQ, the company will be sending a very limited crew to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the upcoming premium live event. As a result, the global juggernaut will have to rely on local companies to assist with the setup and ensure everything runs smoothly ahead of the show.
Thanks for the submission!
The report further stated that preparations for the November 7 event will begin this Saturday. This suggests that work on the upcoming spectacle is expected to move forward despite the recent developments.
This update comes amid reports about WWE‘s plans for the Saudi Arabia event. Although concerns have emerged over the situation, previous reports have indicated that the show is still expected to take place in Riyadh.
Using local companies could therefore help the global juggernaut manage the event with fewer staff members travelling to Saudi Arabia. However, the Stamford-based promotion has not officially confirmed this reported plans, and further details about the arrangements remain unclear.
Crown Jewel is one of WWE’s major international events. Thus, fans will be watching closely for more information regarding the show and its final preparations.
It remains to be seen whether the global juggernaut will provide an official update on the reported changes, or if more details about the limited crew and local support will emerge in the coming days.
WWE headquarters workers reportedly kept in the dark about recent Crown Jewel changes
A new report has revealed that some employees at the WWE headquarters were unaware of the change before it was made public.
According to Fightful Select, despite the reported venue change, sources working in Saudi Arabia still expect the show to take place in Riyadh. The report also claimed that staff at the company’s headquarters only got to know about the change through Riyadh Season’s announcement on X/Twitter.
Also, Riyadh Season has confirmed that fans with existing tickets will receive refunds. As for new tickets, they are expected to become available within 48 hours.
