WWE’s last stop before Crown Jewel is loaded, and the women’s division is carrying a healthy chunk of it. Monday Night RAW from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn starts at a special time of 6 p.m. ET on Netflix, and WWE has added a six-woman tag team match just hours before bell time. IYO SKY, Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton are set for action against The Judgment Day‘s Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
To many, this lineup might look thrown together, but it is not. SKY is hunting the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Stratton is carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase after three failed cash-ins on Morgan, and Green has a champion versus champion date with Morgan at Crown Jewel on November 7. Three stories, one match, and a long list of ways it can end.
Thanks for the submission!
#5. IYO SKY pins Raquel Rodriguez again on WWE RAW
IYO SKY already has the Women’s Intercontinental Champion’s number on television after having pinned her in singles action. On the October 26th edition of RAW in Fresno, she countered the Tejana Bomb into a roll-up and stole the pin, then took a two-on-one beatdown from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez once the bell rang.
A second win over Big Mami Cool, this time with partners watching her back, would make the championship match impossible to put off any longer. SKY vs. Rodriguez for the Women’s Intercontinental Title could be a last-minute addition to the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event.
#4. Roxanne Perez steals the pin on Chelsea Green
Roxanne Perez has already beaten the reigning WWE Women’s Champion this year, on the October 12th edition of RAW, and that result earned her a title match on SmackDown that she lost after Raquel Rodriguez’s interference brought SKY sprinting down the ramp.
WWE keeps handing Perez big pins even while she comes up short in the feuds themselves, and another win here, with Rodriguez occupying the referee, would push her straight back into line for Green’s championship. It also gives the blue brand an easy reason to bring Judgment Day back on Friday, which has been happening for weeks anyway.
#3. The referee throws it out
Five days before a premium live event, WWE has very little interest in letting either champion get pinned. The October 26 main event showed the template: Perez and Rodriguez jumped Becky Lynch mid-cover, the referee called for the bell, and Morgan kept the title because a championship cannot change hands on a disqualification.
A brawl that pulls all six women into the ring, with Green and Morgan trading shots on the floor and Rodriguez throwing bodies around ringside, ends in a no contest and lets everyone board the flight to Riyadh in one piece. It advances nothing, which is exactly the point.
#2. Chelsea Green pins Liv Morgan
If the idea is to send Chelsea Green into her Crown Jewel title match with real momentum, this is the layout. Green has already dropped Morgan with the Unpretty-Her twice in five days, on the October 26th edition of RAW during the Becky Lynch chaos and again on the October 30th edition of SmackDown just before Stratton’s third cash-in collapsed.
A third one, with SKY clearing Rodriguez and Perez off the apron, would leave the Women’s World Champion flat on her back heading into Saturday and put genuine doubt around her reign. The complication is Dominik Mysterio, who saved Morgan’s title eight days ago by simply dragging her out of the ring.
#1. Tiffany Stratton turns on Chelsea Green
Tiffany Stratton‘s cash-in attempts have followed the same script three times now. On the October 23 edition of SmackDown, October 26 on Raw, October 30 on SmackDown again, Stratton failed to cash in her contract on Morgan.
Every time she got her hands on Morgan, The Judgment Day made sure to pull the champion clear before a referee could ring the bell. Fans have started calling the repetition out, and this story needs a change of direction.
The loudest change is a heel turn. Stratton could choose to walk out on her own team or to make things much more interesting in this storyline, Stratton could choose to cash in her contract on Green on RAW, ending her reign as the Women’s Champion, and setting up a clash against Morgan at Crown Jewel.
Fans would certainly be taken by surprise if WWE manages to pull off this move later tonight on WWE RAW.
