3 Superstars who could disrupt Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams for the Undisputed WWE Championship

Sami Zayn will put his Undisputed WWE Championship on the line against Trick Williams on the upcoming episode of SamckDown. Williams seeks to be a double champion, as he currently holds the United States Title. The winner of the match will face Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.

With the drama surrounding the Undisputed WWE Championship, fans could see some interference during the title match. With this in mind, let’s look at three WWE Superstars who could disrupt the clash between Sami Zayn and Trick Williams on SmackDown.

#3. Penta could cash in his Money in the Bank contract on Sami Zayn

One possible name on the list is Men’s Money in the Bank winner Penta. The WWE Universe already saw him attempt to cash in his coveted contract on Sami Zayn during the latter’s Undisputed WWE Championship defense against Je’Von Evans on this week’s RAW, before Bron Breakker intervened.

Given this, the masked star could decide to get the job done during Sami’s match against Trick Williams on the upcoming episode of SmackDown. Perhaps this time, Penta would successfully cash in his contract and win the title. If that happens, he will then face Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.

#2. Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano is another WWE Superstar who could disrupt the upcoming Undisputed WWE Championship match on SmackDown. If Trick Williams gives Sami Zayn a tough time and looks poised to win, Gargano could appear at ringside to help Sami retain his title.

WWE’s creative team has done this several times in the past. Since the plan is likely for Zayn to face Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, having Johnny Gargano interfere would be the ideal way to maintain Williams’ momentum, even if he loses the match.

#1. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns could also make his presence felt during the Undisputed WWE Championship match on SmackDown. The OTC is scheduled to face the winner at Crown Jewel, and he could appear just to send a message to both Sami Zayn and Trick Williams ahead of their title clash.

Reigns could attack both men, leading to a disqualification and leaving the championship picture unresolved. Alternatively, he could distract Zayn and give Williams an opening to win the title. Either way, his involvement would add another twist to the rivalry ahead of Crown Jewel.
