The Hollow is an ongoing Roblox event celebrating Halloween with games of different genres. On Day 9 of the event, the developers revealed BEAR as one of the participating experiences, a survival horror currently in alpha. Players can log in and complete the event quest to claim an exclusive avatar cosmetic and a special badge redeemable for Tickets.

The Hollow quest in BEAR requires you to teleport to the event world, collect four trophies, and outrun the pursuing monster. You can complete the mission in 20 minutes by following the steps in this comprehensive guide.

How to complete The Hollow quest in BEAR

Teddy Bear is the item required to access the event world in BEAR. Launch the game on Roblox, enter any portal, and teleport to one of the main maps.

The Teddy Bear could be anywhere on the four main maps. Once you find the item, pick it up and stay alive for the entire playthrough. If you get killed, your avatar will drop the item, forcing you to restart the challenge.

After surviving with the Teddy Bear, return to the lobby and interact with the bed. Hit the “Sleep” button to teleport to the event world, which is entirely dark and grey.

In the event world, you’ll need to finish puzzles and collect four trophies. Each trophy must be placed on the pedestals in the starting area.

Here’s how you can obtain every trophy in the BEAR event world:

First trophy

To get the first trophy, run to the ruined house that has a spectral gate. You’ll notice many crooked paintings on the house walls. Interact with the paintings, rotate them correctly to fit their frames, and get the trophy automatically.

As mentioned earlier, every trophy must be placed on the pedestals in the starting area. Run back to the spawn point and avoid being caught by the shadow entities roaming in the event world.

Find the barn in the event world. Go down to the right side of the building to find an eye glyph on the ground. Notice the words appearing on the structures in front of your avatar and either memorize them or write them in the chat box.

Go inside the barn to find a four-word combination puzzle with input slots. Based on the words you saw after standing on the eye glyph, enter the code accurately to receive the second trophy.

Third trophy

To find the third trophy, head inside the monolithic dark building with a jagged roofline. You’ll find a television that displays the “Insert Tape” error on the screen.

The tape is located on the roof. Run to the back of the building, jump on the small tree, and then proceed upwards to find the Tape. Bring the item inside the building and slot it into the television.

A memory game will begin when the tape is submitted. Memorize the shapes appearing on the screen and then enter them in the exact order in the puzzle to receive the third trophy.

Fourth trophy

To get the final trophy, reach the mouse that keeps saying “give me the cheese.” Turn right from the mouse’s location and run to the dark pole. Use the structure to hop onto the nearby tree and keep proceeding up till you find platforms leading to a pantheon, which contains a slice of cheese.

Bring the cheese to the mouse to receive the fourth trophy.

Escape the event world

Once all four trophies are placed in the starting area, a monster will start chasing your avatar. Outrun the entity while carefully navigating to the exit point. Given that you have infinite respawns for this chase, you won’t lose progress even if your avatar gets killed by the monster.

How to claim the BEAR badge and UGC in The Hollow

After finishing the event quest, open The Hollow on Roblox. Use the elevator in the event hub to reach Floor 9.

Navigate Floor 9 in The Hollow to reach a secret room. Inside the room, interact with the pedestal to claim the BEAR Plush Backpack and the “BEAR Plush Backpack” badge.

The maze on Floor 9 changes every time you enter it after using the elevator.
