Loads of fake GTA 6 leaks are doing the rounds on social media platforms as the game’s release date approaches. The hype around Rockstar Games’ behemoth crime thriller title is at an all-time high. Though the game has encountered a fair share of leaks in the past, hundreds of fake clips and pictures are also going viral on social media.
Here are more details on fake GTA 6 leaks surfacing as the game inches closer to release.
Fake GTA 6 leaks plaguing the internet before release
The last real GTA 6 leak was from Cyberleek, who allegedly has access to an early build. The hacker group posted a parody of Rockstar Games’ Extended Look, naming it Extended Leek. Following that, the group posted several revealing clips of Jason and Lucia as well.
Though there have not been any more leaks since October 14, 2026, social media continues to fill with fake leak clips and pictures. This is specifically because of advanced AI models that can study the recently leaked and official footage and create brand new content.
One specific fake leak is of Lucia experiencing menstrual cycles and fighting with Jason in their pink-soaked apartment, the one that was officially showcased in the Extended Look. The clip is entirely made with artificial intelligence, but attracted a lot of engagement.
Another fake leak shows an in-game smartphone UI, in which Lucia has Cyberleek’s coin open on an app. The fake post claims that players will be able to trade cryptocurrency, which has not been officially confirmed or even hinted at by Rockstar Games.
One leak showcases Jason on a yacht looking at a massive tornado coming towards him. The video can easily be labeled fake because of vastly different HUD elements, something that is hard for AI to replicate.

Like so, there are hundreds of fake GTA 6 leaks spreading across social media, specifically on X and Reddit. Since the game is around the corner anyway, many fans are simply choosing to ignore the leaks now and sit tight for the actual game.
It is worth mentioning that GTA 6 review copies are currently out in the world, but none of the reviewers have leaked the game since. The game drops in 16 days, and fans can pre-load it on their consoles in 10 days.
