Roman Reigns is days away from WWE Crown Jewel, where he could capture another title. Meanwhile, a former world champion sent a message following his attack on The Original Tribal Chief.
Last month, Roman Reigns decided to intervene in an attack by 946 on The Bloodline. The Original Tribal Chief stood alongside his cousins to take on the villainous group. On the recent edition, Royce Keys was in a singles match with Solo Sikoa.
Thanks for the submission!
After the match ended abruptly, the factions started brawling, and Roman Reigns came to save the day. Unfortunately, a masked man appeared and attacked the World Heavyweight Champion. The person was none other than Cruz Montana, and the former TNA World Champion joined 946.
Today, Montana sent a message on X with a picture, holding Roman Reigns by his hair. The message wasn’t just for Reigns, as it was seemingly directed towards The Bloodline. 946 and the Samoan faction are set to clash sooner rather than later, and it’ll most likely happen at Survivor Series: WarGames in the gimmick match.
“FOOT ON THEIR THROATS,” Montana tweeted.
It’ll be interesting to see what’s next for 946 and when Jacob Fatu will return to the red brand.
Roman Reigns can become a double champion at WWE Crown Jewel 2026
In 2022, Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 and unified the world championships. The Original Tribal Chief ruled WWE for around two years as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. While the reign ended at WrestleMania XL, Reigns can relive similar glory.
In 2024, the company introduced the Crown Jewel Championship for the men’s and women’s divisions. Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan were the inaugural champions, and Seth Rollins and Stephanie Vaquer won it last year when the event occurred in Perth, Australia.
In a few days, Roman Reigns will face Sami Zayn for the Crown Jewel Championship. The Original Tribal Chief can become a double champion if he defeats the Undisputed WWE Champion in Saudi Arabia. Reigns has previously defeated Zayn, but a lot has changed since their last encounter.
Meanwhile, Liv Morgan can also make history if she beats Chelsea Green, making her the first-ever two-time Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. It’ll be interesting to see which stars will leave the event with a win.
