Things have gone wrong at a WWE show tonight, heading into SmackDown, as the feud between two of the most bitter rivals continues. While CM Punk and Kevin Owens fought each other in a no-holds-barred match in the taped episode of SmackDown before the show airs, there was a house show where the two came face to face with each other. Unfortunately, things became chaotic extremely fast.
Chaos erupted in a match between CM Punk and Kevin Owens at a WWE show tonight
Thanks for the submission!
There was chaos tonight in a match between CM Punk and Kevin Owens. The two stars have been in a feud for some time as both have tried to establish dominance over the other. Despite their best attempts, neither has come out on top, and the two are scheduled to face each other on WWE SmackDown tomorrow.
Before that taped show can air, the two faced each other in an ordinary match, but they were never going to be contained in the ring for long. The action spilled out and it ended up with the referee counting them both out. The match had to be stopped with a double countout, but it was not going to finish like that.
It was restarted again, with the two facing each other in a street fight instead of the usual match. It ended with them going at each other again, as the referee’s role was reduced to just ending the match.
Now, it has been confirmed that the match ended with Punk getting the win over his long-time rival. Whatever happens, the winner of this feud will likely be getting a title shot soon, if not both of them. Survivor Series is just around the corner, and more will be known by the time the event rolls around, with perhaps a final match culminating this rivalry.
