Many WWE Superstars are in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the upcoming Crown Jewel Premium Live Event on Saturday. Meanwhile, some major stars, including two former champions, were in action at tonight’s live event. The names in question are Johnny Gargano and Chad Gable.
A recent report indicated that a relatively smaller WWE crew will travel to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel due to safety concerns. PWInsider reported that announcers will call the premium live event from the company’s headquarters in the United States. The Triple H-led sports entertainment juggernaut has also changed the show’s venue to ANB Arena.

Top superstars, including Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, and Randy Orton, will compete at Crown Jewel. In their absence, WWE hosted a house show in Bangor, Maine, tonight. The live event featured megastars, such as CM Punk, Dominik Mysterio, Charlotte Flair, and Stephanie Vaquer.
Former Tag Team Champions Johnny Gargano and Chad Gable locked horns in a singles match on the show. This means they didn’t make the trip to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel. Gargano and Gable went to war in a one-on-one bout for the first time since 2022, and they didn’t disappoint.
Gable and Gargano delivered a remarkable performance, earning praise from the fans in attendance. A spectator even posted a clip from the bout, showcasing a stellar submission sequence. It will be interesting to see if they square off in a televised match in the coming days.
