All Legendary ships in Crimson Desert DLC, and how to get them

Legendary ships in the new Crimson Desert DLC, Charting the Unknown, bring forth an entirely new layer of power spike. Since naval warfare is a primary aspect of this expansion, players can take to the seas, go against combat ships, and explore a completely new side of the beloved action-adventure title. To come out on top while navigating the seas, you will need powerful ships with a competent crew.

This article focuses more on the Legendary ships in the new DLC of Crimson Desert, Charting the Unknown.

Crimson Desert DLC guide: Getting all the Legendary ships

At the time of writing this article (November 2, 2026), there are two Legendary ships in total that can be obtained and crafted in the Crimson Desert DLC. They are The Phantom Ship and the Assault Ship of the East. Let us go over each, how to get them, and their crafting requirements.

Phantom Ship:

The Phantom Ship can be collected either by heading to a specific spot for a treasure chest or by finding the enemy variant of the ship itself roaming the seas.

To simply reach the Treasure Chest that has the ship’s blueprint, you can go to the location marked in the image below.

From Delesyia, keep heading south into the South Sea, and then further south until you come across Iliya Island. Go to the marked location, make sure to have a shovel with you, and dig up the Treasure chest for the blueprint.

However, players looking to get it the traditional way can sail to the southeast of the sea, from Delesyia, into the Sea of Silence.

Once you have reached the Sea of Silence, there is a chance for you to encounter the Phantom Ship in the wild. Here, you will need to fight against the ship and completely sink it to loot the treasure map (Forgotten Treasure Map) from the debris, which points to the location we have shown above.

After looting the treasure chest for the blueprint, simply read the blueprint from your inventory, and the Phantom Ship will be unlocked for you to craft.

Constructing the Phantom Ship requires 10 members, 4 days, 45k Stones, 45k Wood, 90k Food Resources, 750k Camp Funds, alongside other materials from the sea, including 5 Natural Pearls, 10 Giant Jellyfish Skin, and 30 Obsidian.

The Phantom Ship comes with 9200 Health, 4 Movement Speed, 3 Acceleration, and 3 Handling.

The Phantom Ship has automated bolts surrounding it, which act as homing projectiles towards an enemy unit. Out of the two Legendary ships mentioned in this article, the Phantom Ship is also more visually pleasing, a trait that is important for anyone who prefers aesthetics over anything.

The Mysterious Ship/Assault Ship of the East:

Start from Delesyia and follow the sea to the east, all the way to an island called Samora Island.

On Samora Island, head to a temple located in the middle of the Island, as shown in the image below.

Within the temple, you are looking for two books to start collecting your blueprint parts for the Ship of the East. One book is called the Legendary Ship Hunt, and the other is called Ship of the East.

Open both books and read them to gain the knowledge to progress further into collecting four boxes for the Legendary ship.

Next, head to the location shown in the image below. This specific area doesn’t have a name, but you should be able to notice a whirlpool. You must collect two blueprint parts from multiple pieces of debris under the water, preferably by avoiding the obvious whirlpool lingering nearby.

Swim far down after reaching the location, dive to the deepest part, and you will encounter two ship ruins. Inside the ruins, you will find Unidentified Boxes, similar to the ones shown in the image below.

For the third box piece, make your way back to land, specifically to the Regent’s Rise waypoint, north of Gorthak.

Here, head to the Bravgork Shipyard location. Upon reaching the area, locate the constructed ship, go inside, and locate the door behind the stairs within the ship. This will lead you to a storage room, where you will find the third box.

For the fourth box, head south by following the sea from Delesyia, go past the South Sea, and navigate slightly southeast to find Bergel Island. From here, head further south to find another island, called Estra Island.

Once you have made your way to Estra Island, head southeast of the location on the map, where you must find a camp with cannonballs on a beach.

Pick up the fourth box from a table located underneath the tent, shown in the image above.

Interact with any one of the mysterious ship blueprints from your inventory, and choose Restore. This will provide you with the actual blueprint of the Legendary ship, which you can now read to unlock the crafting version.

When crafting, you will notice the ship name on the menu is “Mysterious Ship”.

However, after crafting, the ship’s name is revealed to be the Assault Ship of the East.

You will require 10 Members, 4 days and 4 hours, 45k Wood, 45k Stones, 90k Food Resources, and 750k Camp Funds. The ship also comes with 12000 Health, 5 Movement Speed, 4 Acceleration, and 4 Handling.

The Assault Ship of the East makes up for its lack of visual appeal with firepower. It comes with a flamethrower at the front and spikes all over the outer surface, making for great utility for ramming other ships on the ocean.
