“All you want, they took from you”- 2-time champion sends cryptic message amid uncertain AEW future

A former AEW champion sent out a cryptic message amid his extended absence from the company.

The aforementioned star is the former two-time AEW World Tag Team Champion, Anthony Bowens. He and Max Caster founded The Acclaimed, and the duo became one of the division’s most captivating teams. However, the team disbanded in 2024, and they went their separate ways.

While Caster left the company, Bowens was a member of The Opps until his last appearance in September 2026, as of this writing. Despite his hiatus, Max Caster recently said that Bowens was still a part of All Elite Wrestling.

“He’s still there. I don’t wanna speak for him too much but he still works there,” said Caster. [H/T: Fightful]

Amid his uncertain future, The Pride of Professional Wrestling took to his X to send out a message. He wrote:

“All you want, they took from you.”

Anthony Bowens’ partner Max Caster on potential AEW return

While Anthony Bowens reportedly remains with AEW, Max Caster left the promotion and made his TNA debut at the Bound for Glory 2026 PPV. However, he did a controversial rap referencing the Houthis’ attacks on Saudi Arabia airports, which received major backlash, and he was subsequently fired from the promotion.

Caster issued a public apology and said he would seek therapy. Moreover, The Best Wrestler Alive was recently asked about a potential AEW return. While he did not fully write it off, Caster said he wasn’t looking at wrestling bookings in general right now.

“It’s wrestling, right? You never say never. However, I am saying no to wrestling bookings right now, and that would be a wrestling booking so, I don’t know… I agreed to do the virtual signing a couple months ago, I think. I’m honoring this… especially because we know Brian (Myers). I gotta respect Brian too so, this is my last wrestling thing for a while, so whoever’s here, I’m sure somebody is clipping this, waiting for me to say something crazy. I’m gonna try not to today. But, this will be the last time you guys see me for an undefined amount of time.” [H/T- Fightful]

As the former popular tag team duo are on different paths now, it remains to be seen what the future holds for them.
