- Crystal Palace have done well against Tottenham recently, winning their last two visits to North London, including a devastating 1-3 victory there last March. However, the Eagles were one of the few teams to suffer a defeat to Spurs last season, with Tottenham’s 0-1 win at Selhurst Park marking the final victory of the Thomas Frank era.
- Tottenham will be coming into this match with arguably the most momentum they’ve had in a long time. They have won back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since August 2025, with the most recent win being a stunning victory over bitter rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Palace fans will be buoyed by their 0-1 win over Fulham this week, a win that sends them into the EFL Cup quarter finals, where they will face fellow Europa League contenders Sunderland.
- Despite Tottenham’s two recent wins taking their goal haul for the season from three to eight, no Spurs player has scored more than one Premier League goal thus far. Instead, their eight goals have been spread amongst seven different players, with the eighth being an own goal from Chelsea keeper Mike Penders.

There’s some pressure on both sides to get a result here.
For Tottenham, this match marks their chance to not only win three league games in a row for the first time since February 2025, but to really cement their turnaround in fortunes, particularly at home.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, may well need to win to save manager Pierre Sage’s job, as recent reports suggest he is under serious pressure after just a handful of months in charge.
The Eagles have beaten Spurs in their last two visits to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but their chances of winning this one feel a little slimmer. Spurs looked great against Chelsea last weekend, and their powerful midfield may be able to overrun Palace, who have tended to look a little light there due to Sage’s 3-4-2-1 system.
The prediction, then, is a home win.
