There is a major update on The Rock in WWE after his absence from the company for such a long time. He has been gone for quite a long time and has been focused on his work in Hollywood instead. Now, there’s an update on that relationship after there were reports of issues between them and how things turned out the last time the Great One was involved in the stories.
The Rock and WWE have a major update
Thanks for the submission!
As per a report by WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE has major plans to honor The Rock this month. The Great One made his debut back in 1996 at the Survivor Series, and the company plans to honor him on the 30-year anniversary of the star’s debut.
Even though he has not been involved with the company as such ever since he returned to the company to ask Cody Rhodes to sell him his soul and help John Cena to turn heel. That went off badly, and he didn’t return to continue the story, resulting in most of the WWE Universe turning on him. The star has just denied his return, and with stories emerging about him wanting Cody Rhodes to turn heel and it not happening, there are many rumors about it.
The report went on to say that the company is going to be rolling out merchandise related to the Brahma Bull, and there is even a plan for a commemorative championship title to highlight the anniversary. The new title will be rolled out soon, and the reports said that the social media campaigns celebrating him will also be a part of it.
The Rock’s own reaction to this is unknown, but with the company celebrating him, it appears there are no longer any hard feelings surrounding it.
