Megan Bayne is one of the most talented women in the world of professional wrestling and is set to square off against a former male AEW star. The star that the Megasus is set to face is none other than KJ Orso who spent nearly three years in the Jacksonville-based company.
KJ Orso signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2020 and started wrestling in the company as a luchador named ‘Fuego Del Sol’. He gained a lot of popularity among fans despite constantly losing his matches. A major reason behind his growing popularity was him being often featured on Sammy Guevara’s vlogs. He lost 34 matches straight in the company before his losing streak ended in a tag team match against Ryzin and Baron Black alongside Marko Stunt.
Del Sol joined Game Changer Wrestling last year and lost his mask in a match against Atticus Cogar. While most people thought he was retiring, he returned a few months later under his real name KJ Orso. He currently holds the promotion’s World Tag Team titles alongside Sam Stackhouse. However, he now has a major threat in front of him as he’s set to face Megan Bayne in an intergender match.
GCW recently announced on their official account that the Megasus will square off against KJ Orso at the upcoming Bedlam in Boise event.
*BOISE UPDATE* Just Signed: MEGAN BAYNE vs KJ ORSO Plus: Starkz vs Scott; Nick Gage, Atticus Cogar, Bustah & Brain, Markus Mathers, Kevin Matthews, Cowboy Way, Vipress +more.”
Fans are excited to see the Megasus in an intergender match like this in AEW.
Megan Bayne and Lena Kross had a squash match on AEW Collision
The Divine Dominion are arguably one of the best female tag teams in All Elite Wrestling right now. While AEW has been celebrating Halloween this week, the promotion hosted Fright Night editions of Dynamite and Collision. While Collision was taped this Friday, it will be released on Saturday.
On the show, Megan Bayne and Lena Kross faced a returning Nixi XS and Leela Feist. This was Nixi’s first match in All Elite Wrestling in nearly 6 months. However, the bout ended very early and Divine Dominion, dominated as usual.
It is great to see Tony Khan book the Megasus as a genuine threat.
