Dan Campbell said that Lions will honor Jack Campbell in how they play this season

The Detroit Lions pulled off a 19-15 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon, despite watching one of their teammates get carted off the field with a serious injury. They will now have to move forward by preparing for their next matchup against the Miami Dolphins and with Jack Campbell on their minds.

Lions coach Dan Campbell spoke to reporters on Wednesday and said that they will have to play hard and fight hard in his honor.

“I know the only way to really honor Jack, and what he really wants, is to make sure that we’re locked in and ready to go. Because otherwise, what just came about, then we’re throwing it away, in a sense. I think we owe it to him. We owe it to all of ourselves to make sure we’re locked in and we make the most of this,” Dan Campbell told reporters.

The Lions linebacker was injured while making a tackle in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s matchup against the Vikings. He remained on the ground, motionless afterwards and the medical team rushed to his side to render aid.
