Costly Botch Leads to Failed Money in the Bank Cash-in Attempt on WWE RAW

This week’s WWE RAW was headlined by a Women’s World Championship match. Liv Morgan defended her title against Becky Lynch.

The Man was scheduled to face off against Stephanie Vaquer in a No. 1 Contender’s Match to determine Liv Morgan’s challenger on WWE RAW. However, at the start of the show, Adam Pearce confirmed that La Primera was medically not cleared to compete. He also announced a Women’s World Title match pitting Morgan against Lynch.

In the climax of the title match, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez interfered, aiming to provide an unfair advantage to Liv Morgan. However, Becky Lynch initially managed to fend off The Judgment Day duo. Lynch delivered a Manhandle Slam to Morgan and seemed set to emerge victorious before Perez and Rodriguez attacked her.

The Prodigy and Big Mami Cool’s interference led to Lynch’s victory via disqualification. After the match, The Judgment Day launched an attack on The Man. Women’s Champion Chelsea Green and IYO SKY showed up to neutralize the equation. Tiffany Stratton also arrived at the end of the brawl to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Morgan.

Stratton hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on the Women’s World Champion. She then handed her MITB briefcase to the referee. In a costly botch, the official took unusually long to start the title match and confirm the cash in. Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio pulled Morgan out of the ring.

The Buff Barbie once again failed to cash in her contract on Morgan. “Dirty” Dom saved The Miracle Kid from potentially losing her title on WWE RAW.
