A former Women’s Champion unexpectedly returned on this week’s WWE SmackDown after suffering an injury in October. Upon her comeback, she took out Jade Cargill and her allies. The name in question is Charlotte Flair.
The Baddies put their Women’s Tag Team Championship on the line against Fatal Influence on this week’s WWE SmackDown. Jade Cargill was at ringside to support her stablemates. Meanwhile, Jacy Jayne was in the corner of Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.
Thanks for the submission!
Henley and Reid lost the gold to Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley on October 10. Before Fatal Influence could receive a rematch, the babyface duo dropped the gold to Michin and B-Fab on October 23. This week on SmackDown, the two heel factions went to war over the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
During the match, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley made a shocking appearance and initiated a brawl. Bliss and Paxley attacked all the superstars in the ring. However, the heels ultimately ganged up on the former Women’s Tag Team Champions. Bayley showed up to help Little Miss Bliss and Paxley, but it wasn’t enough.
Charlotte Flair, who was injured by The Baddies in a backstage assault last month on WWE SmackDown, made a grand return. The former Women’s Champion rescued the babyfaces, forcing Fatal Influence and The Baddies to retreat.
Fatal Influence’s union with The Baddies against the babyfaces seemed like WWE’s way of teasing a Women’s WarGames Match. The high-profile showdown is rumored to take place at this year’s Survivor Series Premium Live Event.
