Former AEW champion Tommaso Ciampa seems to have teased the potential All Elite Wrestling arrival of a prominent tag team following their recent WWE exit. The stars in question, the Creed Brothers, reportedly chose to not renew their deals with the Triple H-led company.
Julius and Brutus Creed began competing in the sports entertainment juggernaut in 2021 on NXT, where they won the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, and held the NXT Men’s Tag Team Championships. They graduated from the developmental brand to the main roster in 2023, joining the Monday Night RAW locker room and scoring wins over teams like Alpha Academy and DIY shortly after their arrival. The following year, the duo joined forces with Chad Gable to form a new group called American Made.
Over the past couple of years, the Creeds had been featured regularly on RAW as a staple of its tag team division. They also made appearances on Friday Night Smackdown, Main Event, and even Lucha Libre AAA World Wide, where they backed up the original El Grande Americano (aka Chad Gable). Last September, they returned to NXT, and participated in the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, making it to the quarterfinal stage where they lost to Hank and Tank on October 20.
This week, news broke that the Creed Brothers had parted ways with WWE, having elected to not renew their contracts. Fans did not take long to begin their speculations on Julius and Brutus potentially crossing over to AEW. As if to fuel the conjecture even further, former TNT Champion Tommaso Ciampa recently took to his Instagram to post a throwback photo of one of DIY’s past matches against the Creeds.
It remains to be seen whether Julius and Brutus will end up signing with AEW.
Tommaso Ciampa has a massive title match set for AEW Collision
Last month at WrestleDream 2026, Tommaso Ciampa failed to unseat Andrade El Idolo for his National Title after the defending champion turned the challenger’s attempt at cheating his way to victory against him. This Saturday on AEW Collision, which will take place on the Jericho Cruise, the Psycho Killer will have another opportunity to dethrone the Real Latino Man for his belt.
It remains to be seen whether Ciampa will end Andrade’s National Championship reign on the high seas this weekend.
