Packers wide receiver Christian Watson followed the game during hospital visit

Christian Watson, who was taken to the hospital to check for any potential internal bleeding, revealed that he was following the game before returning to Lambeau Field.

“One of the doctors had his phone out, I was just watching the play-by-play,” Watson said. “I couldn’t watch, but I was just watching the play-by-play. Uh, saw [Matthew Golden’s] touchdown. I was hyped. I saw Josh [Jacobs’] touchdown. I was like, ‘Alright, we’re doing something.’

“Then it got a little quiet because I was just left in the room by myself for a little while, but eventually they came in and said, ‘Alright, you’re good, you’re going back.’ And then that was that.”

Thursday’s victory means the Packers have won four of their last five games. They face off against the New England Patriots in Week 9.
