How to get the Diving Suit in Crimson Desert DLC

Charting the Unknown is the latest Crimson Desert DLC release that lets you explore underwater to discover new ruins, dangers, and secrets. To do this, you will need a Diving Suit, which will let you hold your breath for much longer so you can navigate the aquatic world with relative ease.

How to obtain the Diving Suit in Crimson Desert DLC

Simply put, the Diving Suit gear set is a pre-order bonus exclusive to the Charting the Unknown DLC. If you pre-purchased the story expansion ahead of launch, you will get this new gear set right away in your game.

It consists of two variants: Charter’s Diving Suit and Charter’s Light Diving Suit. The former can be equipped by both Kliff and Oongka, while the latter is for Damaine. Regardless of which you use, it consists of the following four pieces each, all of which share the same stats and traits:

• Helm: Daze Immunity | Increases Max Breathing by +120
• Suit: Increases Max Breathing by +120
• Gloves: Swim Speed Multiplier 2%
• Boots: Swim Speed Multiplier 2%

A total of +240 Max Breathing will give you about 4 minutes of underwater time, while a 4% swimming speed bonus total will make you a little speedier in the water. You can redeem the Diving Suit in-game by following the steps outlined below:

• Load your save file in Crimson Desert
• Bring up the pause menu and go to the Others tab
• Under the Options sub-category, click on Add-ons
• Redeem the gear set, all eight pieces of which will be added to your Inventory

Once redeemed, you can use them anytime by diving into the ocean found beyond the shorelines to the south and east. Note that since this set counts as special gear, as indicated by its purple background, it does not take up any inventory slots. As such, you do not have to worry about the items eating up space if you are running low.
