The Miz has been struggling in WWE over the past few years. It seems that his legacy in the company has already been determined, so now he has been helping the next generation, which has led to an unfortunate streak.
Miz is very aware that he has gone more than a year without picking up a win, a streak that ended on October 23rd when he won a match on Main Event, but he recently pointed out that he didn’t even pin the guy; Kit Wilson did.
Thanks for the submission!
While speaking on Z100 New York, The Miz opened up about his streak.
“I think it’s the longest losing streak that anyone in WWE history has ever been a part of. Without even knowing, right? I didn’t keep track of it until someone online was like, ‘Hey, does anyone know that The Miz hasn’t won a match in like two years?’ I was like, wait a second, is that real? Is that true? I’m going through it every week. I have a match and then it skips my mind. You’re only as good as your last match, so I’m always thinking about the last match, right? I’m not thinking about the entire year, how I’ve been doing.” he revealed.
The Miz needs to pick up a singles win after two years of losses
The former WWE Champion went on to note that he didn’t pick up the win, and he needs that singles win because he hasn’t picked up a singles win since February 2024.
“I didn’t even pin the guy, by the way. My tag team partner did. So, I won by not even pinning a guy. I still need a solo win, I still need to pin a guy. I guess that’s still going if you’re really keeping track.”
With many WWE stars already retired or ready to retire, it seems that The Miz could be next on that list, but he is yet to open up about whether he is ready to hang up his boots; he could instead be focused on bringing this unfortunate WWE streak to an end.
