“I don’t care if you’re The Tribal Chief” – Underdog exposes WWE’s Roman Reigns

Ever since Roman Reigns transformed into The Tribal Chief in 2020, he has never been short on confidence. However, an underdog has recently made some strong claims about the OTC.

Reigns is set to face Sami Zayn in a Champion vs. Champion match at Crown Jewel. Ahead of the bout, The Last Real Good Guy talked to Cathy Kelley for the Crown Jewel Countdown show.

The Underdog from the Underdog went on a rant about the difference between himself and the OTC and stated that no matter how confident Reigns seems, he knows that the World Heavyweight Champion has self-doubt, simply because, at the end of the day, he is a human being.

“Roman can say he’s 100% sure. I know there’s that self-doubt because he’s human. He’s human. I don’t care if you’re The Tribal Chief. I don’t care how much success you’ve had. You’re still a human being. You cannot tell me that you’re going into the ring with a WWE champion and there’s zero self-doubt. I know there’s self-doubt there. He can play it however he wants. I don’t care. I know there’s self-doubt. I’ll tell you- I am telling you there’s self-doubt. But there’s also a crazy amount of confidence, and I’m operating at a higher level now than I ever have been. So yes, absolutely, I think I can beat him,” Zayn said. [H/T: Fightful]

It remains to be seen if Sami Zayn can prove this theory by defeating Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.

While both Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn are formidable competitors, the OTC is considered the favorite to win the Men’s Crown Jewel Title this Saturday. Zayn has been overlooked by many, but he could pull off an upset at the Riyadh PLE.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Radio are expecting that WWE could have Zayn defeat Reigns in the Champion vs. Champion match. It will be interesting to see if this comes to fruition at Crown Jewel.
