A heartwarming moment between AEW President Tony Khan and a female star has been making the rounds online after the star’s monumental title victory.
AEW held this year’s Dynamite: Fright Night edition last Wednesday, on October 28, 2026, at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. The main event featured Persephone defending the TBS Championship against female star Queen Aminata. Despite the odds being stacked against her with Britt Baker on the champ’s side, Aminata rose to the occasion and defeated Persephone to win the TBS title, her first in All Elite Wrestling.
Aminata, who’s been wrestling in AEW since 2021, has earned a reputation as one of the most talented in-ring performers. Seeing the 33-year-old win her first title was a major high for fans. Her win was celebrated by the entire group of female babyface stars, who came out to embrace her. For those unaware, Aminata occasionally uploads vlogs to her YouTube channel, and she addressed her victory in her most recent upload. The video also featured a heartwarming moment when Tony Khan embraced her, which has gone viral.
You can watch the moment between Tony Khan and Queen Aminata starting at the 2:41 mark in Aminata’s vlog below:
Tony Khan officially confirms a Texas Deathmatch will occur at Full Gear 2026
One of the most anticipated bouts at the upcoming AEW Full Gear 2026 pay-per-view (Nov 14) is the AEW World Trios Title match, in which champions Hangman Page and Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) defend against Swerve Strickland and the New Level (Austin Creed and Kofi). In the lead-up to this match, Strickland has pushed to make the bout a Texas Deathmatch, while his opponents and teammates have opposed it. This led the Mogul to use unhinged methods to get his way, including kidnapping Bandido, bloodying him, and even unmasking him.
On this week’s Dynamite, Bandido got his revenge by attacking his Full Gear opponents backstage after he urged Hangman Page to let the Texas Deathmatch happen. His urges were answered, as the commentary team soon announced that Tony Khan had made the stipulation official.
Hangman and Strickland have already competed against each other in a Texas Deathmatch, but their respective teammates are in uncharted waters. It will be interesting to see who comes out the champions at Full Gear.
