Tom Brady had another awkward live-television moment after accidentally swearing during Sunday’s “Fox NFL Sunday.”
The seven-time Super Bowl champion was competing against former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees in a trivia segment, “Who’s in third?” He was asked to identify the player with the third-most career games with at least 300 passing yards.
Thanks for the submission!
Instead of providing an answer, Brady unexpectedly shouted:

The former quarterback immediately realized his mistake, but the slip-up had already caught the attention of his colleagues. Michael Strahan and the rest of the studio crew struggled to contain their laughter as Brady reacted to his own blunder.
NFL insider Ari Meirov shared the clip through an X post.
Fans reacted to the video.
“Cursing like A True Buccaneer ☠️ 🏴☠️,” a fan wrote.
“Another live ‘oh sh*t’ from Brady… at this point it’s less a slip-up and more a signature catchphrase!!” another fan commented.
“Even legends have their unfiltered moments. 😂,” a user tweeted.
“Still getting used to live broadcasting etiquette 😂,” another user commented.
“Tom Brady can’t stop swearing on air lol,” a fan account tweeted.
“disgusting. i hope my kids don’t hear this,” a user wrote.
This was Brady’s second live television profanity of the 2026 season. Earlier in the year, he reacted to Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels dislocating his elbow with an equally unfiltered, “Oh s***.”
Tom Brady on Drake Maye’s toughness that Patriots teammates will have loved
Tom Brady believes Drake Maye showed the kind of toughness that New England Patriots teammates love to see during their Week 7 loss to the Chicago Bears.
Maye rushed for a touchdown against Chicago, lowering his shoulder and powering through a defender to reach the end zone. The play caught Brady’s attention, who believes such moments can give a team an emotional lift.
“I tell you, all the players love seeing their quarterback do tough things on the field,” Brady said in a FOX Sports video.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion explained that toughness usually comes from standing in the pocket, delivering accurate throws under pressure, and getting back up after taking hits.
However, he particularly appreciated Maye’s willingness to put his body on the line.
“Every once in a while, a quarterback can put his shoulder down, run through a defender, and plunge into the end zone,” Brady said.
Brady expects the play to have made an impression during the Patriots’ Monday film session.
