Manchester United manager Michael Carrick could make a couple of changes in the final third against Chelsea in the Premier League tomorrow.

The Red Devils are winless in their last eight matches in all competitions, and the pressure is on Carrick to turn around the club’s fortunes very soon.

Ahead of Saturday’s encounter in west London, Carrick is widely expected to reinstate Bruno Fernandes into the XI, having dropped him to the bench for the 3-0 league defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford last weekend.

Alongside Fernandes, Matheus Cunha also looks poised to return on the left wing ahead of Mason Mount. Cunha has scored five goals in his last five meetings against the Blues. This includes a hat-trick for Wolves.

Carrick saw a poor response from his side against Bournemouth last time around, but he expects things to change at Stamford Bridge where they won last season after a solitary goal scored by Cunha in the first half.
