Fresh off the back of a stunning victory over Atalanta, Parma return home this weekend when they take on Bologna in round 11 of the Italian Serie A on Saturday. Raffaele Palladino’s men journey to the Ennio Tardini Stadium in resurgent form and will look to secure a fourth league win on the bounce for the first time since March 2025 this weekend.
Parma turned in a dominant team display on Monday, when they cruised to a 3-0 victory over Atalanta at the New Balance Arena, with Giovanni Fabbian and Simone Lontani netting on either side of Davide Zappacosta’s 47th-minute own goal to sink the hosts.
Thanks for the submission!
Head coach Alberto Gilardino will be delighted with Monday’s impressive display, having failed to record a win in their four previous matches, suffering three consecutive defeats before playing out a goalless draw with Udinese on October 28.
Parma have picked up two wins and two draws from their 10 Serie A games so far to collect eight points and sit 15th in the league table, level on points with Fiorentina and Sassuolo.
On the other hand, Tommaso Pobega and Federico Bernardeschi found the back of the net to fire Bologna to a 2-1 comeback victory over Monza at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium last Saturday.
Palladino’s side have won three games on the bounce, and four of their most recent five outings, with a 3-1 defeat against reigning champions Inter Milan on October 17 being the exception.
Having failed to win their opening five matches (2D 3L), this upturn in form has seen Bologna surge into ninth place in the Serie A standings, level on 14 points with eighth-placed Napoli.

Parma vs Bologna Prediction
Parma secured a spirit-lifting victory over Atalanta last time out and will head into the weekend with renewed confidence, but they face one of the most in-form Serie A sides in Bologna.
Palladino’s men have been impressive on the road in this fixture, and we predict they will maintain their fine run of form and come away with all three points, albeit by the odd goal.
Prediction: Parma 1-2 Bologna
