“She’s so frustrated” – Nikki Bella on WWE HoFer Brie’s injury

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella reunited with Brie Bella, but the duo hit a few roadblocks. The Fearless One recently provided an update on her sister’s recovery from injury.

Earlier this year, The Bella Twins reunited and entered the women’s tag team division. Unfortunately, Nikki Bella suffered an injury, and Paige subbed in for her until The Fearless One was ready to return. In August, Nikki, Brie, and Paige lost to The Fatal Influence at SummerSlam in Minneapolis. During the match, Brie Bella got injured and suffered a broken scapula.

Speaking to Justin Dorazio of SportsRadio 94WIP, Nikki addressed Brie’s recovery. The former Divas Champion said it’s been a slow process for her sister, and Brie is frustrated with it, as she can’t work out right now. However, she’s going to get an X-ray soon to see how far she has recovered.

“It’s a slow process, cause she didn’t have the surgery, but she couldn’t wear the location of the breaks were. She’s doing well. She’s in PT a few days a week. So, it’s kinda one of those things that you’re waiting for those bones to heal. It’s like I think she gets another X-ray soon to see like more of the growth. But she’s so frustrated cause when it’s the scapula, she can’t work out at all right now. So, that’s been really tough on her,” Bella said.

WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins want to win gold

Earlier this year, WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins earned a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42. However, Nikki’s injury derailed those plans, and Paige was brought in at the very last minute as The Fearless One’s replacement for the show.

The Bella Twins have been a duo for over a decade, but the company didn’t have a women’s tag team division during their prime years. Speaking on Good Morning America, Nikki said it’s her goal to win the tag team championship with Brie before they can retire from the industry.

“Brie and I are the OG tag team, and we never had that opportunity to go for the tag titles, and we want them. You know, before we officially retire, which will be down the road,” Nikki Bella said.

It’ll be interesting to see when The Bella Twins will capture championship gold as a team in the company.
