Roman Reigns has been going strong in WWE for over a decade. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever. Much like the others, The OTC will eventually walk away from the business when the time comes. Recent speculation seems to have confirmed whether The Bloodline leader is nearing his retirement.
During a recent Q&A on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp said WWE would let Roman Reigns work a part-time schedule for as long as they have him, meaning he could continue to wrestle for another decade if he wants to.
Thanks for the submission!
“Roman Reigns will work his current schedule as long as they will have him. I don’t think he’ll retire for another decade at this pace.”
Reigns has been WWE’s part-time act for years now, but that has not changed his position in the company.
He is the reigning World Heavyweight Champion on Monday Night RAW, having solidified his reign since taking it from CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42 Night Two.
Roman Reigns set for WWE Crown Jewel 2026
Reigns is advertised to face Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn in a Champion vs. Champion showdown for the Men’s Crown Jewel Title on November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Neither man’s title would be defended on the show. However, Penta could cash in his Money in the Bank contract on either man, though he already has a lot on his plate.
Penta and Je’Von Evans will challenge Bron Breakker and Austin Theory for the World Tag Team Titles at Crown Jewel. Interestingly, Royce Keys and 946 could make their presence felt during The OTC’s match.
Roman Reigns helped The Bloodline fend off 946 on the flagship show, setting the stage for the Survivor Series: WarGames Match.
Earlier this week, Riyadh Season announced that Crown Jewel would move from the Riyadh Season Stadium amid ongoing conflict in the Middle East, promising full refunds for existing ticket holders. As of this writing, the upcoming premium live event will take place at ANB Arena.
