Overview
Survive Your Ideas is a disaster survival experience with a major twist: the players can control what disasters or boons activate at any given time. All players in a match are given turns, during which they can type in a word to activate the associated effect. The game ensures all players have their turn once before giving them a subsequent turn.
Many of the words that can be entered have fixed effects, such as “NUKE”, “DINOSAUR”, and “TSUNAMI”. Once entered, their effects remain active for a little while before disappearing. It’s worth noting that certain words are exceptions, such as “ZOMBIES” or “METEOR”, the effects of which remain active for the duration of the match.
If you enter a word that is not in the game’s database of effects, then the game will react in two ways. The first has it activate an effect that is the closest to an existing effect. On the other hand, the second causes it to spawn an NPC with the same name as the entered effect.
Your objective is to survive for as long as possible. Matches can last well over 10 minutes, so be sure to stay alert to ensure you can be the last survivor standing.
