WWE will host a blockbuster edition of NXT tonight at the Performance Center and the excitement is at a fever pitch. The show will feature a star-studded lineup involving the appearances of top stars like John Cena, CM Punk and many more. It will be a special Wednesday edition because CW is covering US mid-term elections. This episode of NXT will go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite’s Blood & Guts event.
The two NXT Championships will be on the line tonight as both Grayson Waller and Kelani Jordan are set to put their championships on the line. Fans will also witness a massive Unsanctioned Match. However, all eyes will remain on the main event as the biggest highlight will be the ending of the show. WWE has plenty of options to book as the closing act of NXT this week, whether it be a match or segment.
Thanks for the submission!
Here are four potential endings to WWE NXT this week:
#4. CM Punk and Grayson Waller leave trails of destruction
CM Punk will face Grayson Waller in a high-profile match for the NXT Championship tonight on NXT. There is a good possibility that WWE can book it as the main event, as the company is advertising it as a main attraction for this episode. During the final moments of the show, Punk and Waller could be brawling at ringside, with both superstars engaging in a fiery altercation.
They could turn the arena into a breeding ground of chaos, unleashing havoc on one another. CM Punk and Grayson Waller could get involved in a high-risk spot that may leave both of them knocked out. As a result, the referee could end the NXT Championship match in a no contest. The show could end with both superstars lying motionless at ringside, stacked under rubble.
#3. John Cena reveals NXT participants for John Cena Classic
John Cena will grace the upcoming episode of NXT with his presence and the excitement is at a fever pitch. WWE could put him in a major segment in the main event of the show tonight to make the most of it. Following his blockbuster announcement on RAW this week, The Cenation Leader could shed light on the John Cena Classic, revealing further details.
He could take the stage and announce the NXT talents that will participate in the inaugural event next month. John Cena could call out a list of names to the ring and congratulate them. The episode of NXT could end with the veteran endorsing the talents in the ring, calling them the future of WWE. Such an ending would create tremendous hype for the upcoming John Cena Classic.
#2. 946 hijacks NXT and destroys Dion Lennox
NXT can end tonight in one of the most chaotic fashions with Royce Keys and his crew unleashing havoc on the show. Cruz Montanza has been embroiled in a heated rivalry with Dion Lennox on NXT for the past few weeks. The two superstars will battle each other in an Unsanctioned Match tonight where Montanza may stand tall with his new faction.
During the climax of NXT tonight, 946 can invade the show and prey upon Dion Lennox. Royce Keys, OTM, Carmelo Hayes and Cruz Montanza could unleash a barbaric beatdown on the 28-year-old, obliterating him and leaving trails of destruction in their wake. The show could end with 946 standing tall in the ring while Lennox is being stretchered away to an ambulance.
#1. CM Punk walks out as the new NXT Champion
Grayson Waller and CM Punk will collide for the NXT Championship tonight and WWE could plan a shocking end to this match. The two superstars could beat each other down in a chaotic match. However, during the climax of the bout, Waller could attempt to hit his finisher on his opponent. However, Punk could counter it immediately and hoist the champ onto his shoulder.
He could hit Grayson Waller with a devastating GTS, knocking his lights out. CM Punk could pin him to a three-count and win the match, leaving the entire arena on their feet. The Second City Saint could pull off a huge upset by winning the NXT Championship in the mainevent. The show could go off air with Punk celebrating his shocking title win with the crowd at the ring.
