Once you enter the correct room, you will find several items displayed on top of a podium. These objects must be collected and placed at their respective locations throughout the maze. The items you need to look for are:
- Candle
- Lantern
- Potion
- Skull
- Bell
You cannot carry all the items at once. Instead, you must pick up one item, take it to its corresponding location, and place it before returning to the safe room for another item.
3. Find the matching locations around the maze
After collecting an item, explore the maze and look for its corresponding placement location. The objects and their destinations are distinguishable because they emit a white glow, making them easier to spot against the dark surroundings.
This challenge is similar to the Floor 7 maze, where you had to light a torch and locate pumpkins scattered around the map. However, the Floor 8 maze requires you to transport items individually and place them at their matching locations.
Keep an eye out for The Overseer while moving between the safe room and the item locations. Getting caught by this entity resets your progress and sends you back to the lobby, forcing you to attempt the challenge again.
4. Collect the relic and escape
Continue collecting and placing the required items until the puzzle is complete. Once all the items have been placed correctly, you will receive the relic.
