Finn Balor made an unexpected move on the Halloween-themed edition of WWE SmackDown last night. He brought back his Demon King gimmick to destroy Gunther.

Danhausen was the special host of this week’s episode of SmackDown. He was featured in various segments on the program. At one point, he appeared on the entrance ramp to disclose his most “evil” science experiment. Before the former AEW star could make the reveal, Gunther attacked him from behind.

Thanks for the submission!

The Ring General mercilessly assaulted a helpless Danhausen before Minihausens showed up to rescue him. However, the face-painted star’s allies suffered the same fate. Gunther singlehandedly annihilated them, going as far as using pumpkins to attack them. In a shocking moment, Demon Finn Balor was revealed as Mr. Very Nice, Very Evil’s new experiment.

The Demon King engaged in a brawl with The Ring General. Gunther tried his best to take out Balor, but he failed. The former Universal Champion delivered a spectacular Coup de Grace to the Austrian superstar on the commentary table. In the end, Balor posed with Danhausen in the ring to a huge pop from the crowd.

Following the return of Demon King, Finn Balor posted a couple of backstage photos with Danhausen. He also broke silence by sending a short message in the caption of the post.

“Very Demon, very evil #HappyHalloween,” Balor wrote.

Finn Balor Made an Interesting Revelation About Roman Reigns

Finn Balor is among the most experienced superstars on the WWE roster. He has wrestled against several top names of the company, including Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk. The Prince and the OTC share a storied history as rivals.

On a recent edition of the Cheap Heat Podcast, the former Universal Champion spoke about wrestlers oiling themselves up before matches. Balor also revealed that Reigns smelled great during bouts.

“Well, believe it or not, I’m one of the guys who uses the least amount of oil. I’ve locked up with some guys, and they’ve slipped out of my hands like a dead fish. Listen, whatever about how much oil Roman uses, I want to go on the record just saying whatever oil it is, it smells delicious. The first time I locked up with him on my debut on RAW, I locked up, I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m nervous. Here’s Roman Reigns.’ I lock up, and I go, ‘Oh, wow. He smells good,'” Balor said.

The Prince is widely expected to lock horns with Gunther at Crown Jewel on November 7. It will be interesting to see if WWE books the match in the coming days.
