The final Halloween update in Storage Hunters: Open World has unleashed the Pumpkin boss in the bidding wars. This boss spawns only after you win a certain number of garages at auctions, arriving to outbid you on the next one. Defeating this event-exclusive boss earns you a Pumpkin Boss Chest and the Pumpkin Trophy, and for the first win, you will get the Pumpkin King title.

Storage Hunters: Open World – Pumpkin Boss Update
- New Pumpkin boss! Every 7 Halloween garages you win, your next one is a garage with three Pumpkin Minions bidding. Every 28th garage, the Pumpkin Boss bids himself.
- New Pumpkin boss bar after every Halloween garage. Watch your wins count up to the next minion and boss garage.
- Defeat the Pumpkin boss to win the Pumpkin Boss Chest and the Pumpkin Trophy! He comes back after every defeat, and every boss garage you win takes 20% off his health.
- New Pumpkin King title. Defeat the Pumpkin boss to unlock it.
- New limited drops in boss garages: Flying Dark Dragon and the Pumpkin Boss Hat.
- New limited drops in minion garages: Pumpkin Minion Hat, Witch Robe, Pumpkin Scythe and Witching King.
- New limited Jack O Lantern, found only in minion garages. Use it from your inventory to get 1 win closer to the Pumpkin boss.
- New limited Toxic Ghost Bomb, found only in minion garages: use it on the Pumpkin boss in the Halloween area to take 10% off his health.
- New mutators: [Smashed Pumpkin] in minion and boss garages, and [Cursed] in boss garages only.
- 11 new materials in Build Mode: Carpet, Leather, Rubber, Plastic, Foil, Pavement, Rock, Salt, Leafy Grass, Glacier, and Cracked Lava.
- New Minimum Arrow Speed setting under Bid Arrow in Settings. Raise it to keep the bid arrow fast in low-mutation auctions, while Speed accessories still slow it down in high-mutation ones.
- Free Vehicle Customisation pass owners can now add underglow to their vehicles in any colour at the Car Customisation shop.
- New Potato Mode setting under Graphics in Settings for lower-end devices. Turns off particles, textures, shadows, and the items loaded on vehicles.
- Some Lucky Beach and Business Bay mythicals can now be found in the Beach Hut and High End Apartment garages.
- Mythicals are 25% more common in the Farmyard Barn Garage.

How to trigger the Pumpkin boss in Storage Hunters: Open World
To make the Pumpkin boss appear, win a total of 27 garages. Compete in auctions, outbid NPCs, acquire garages full of items, and sell them for profit to get money for more purchases.
When you bid for the 28th garage, the Pumpkin boss will automatically appear on the map. The boss will try to outbid you, so put all your money into the auction and beat the event rival to get a Pumpkin Boss Chest and the Pumpkin Trophy.
