John Cena and Cody Rhodes are set to show up on WWE NXT and we now have a potential reason as to why that is happening. And it has everything to do with some competition from the other side.
It was announced that this week’s WWE NXT is set to air on Wednesday, November 4th. The reason for that is because of the US midterm elections and the coverage that will follow after the results are announced. With that announcement, NXT is all set to go head to head with AEW Blood & Guts on the same day.
Thanks for the submission!
We now have an update as to why both Cena and Cody have been added to the show. According to Fightful Select, both the flagship stars were added to NXT’s show this week in order to help the show against AEW’s Blood & Guts.
This is not the first time Triple H is going head to head with Tony Khan and it will be interesting to see which show the fans will tune into the most.
