John Cena will appear on WWE RAW later tonight, and it seems that the subject of his announcement has now been confirmed.
The former World Champion recently shared a post on Instagram that shows the New York City skyline with the words “The Classic” written over it, which confirms that his announcement tonight will be about the John Cena Classic.

It could also be a massive hint by including New York, or it could be because tonight’s RAW is in Brooklyn. That being said, fans believe that he is teasing the location of the John Cena Classic that is rumored to be taking place on December 19th.
The John Cena Classic has been a hot topic of conversation since the former champion originally announced it, but there has been no date or information revealed regarding the event.
December is already looking stacked for WWE, with a trip to Perth planned for December 12th, while NXT TLC will also take place that weekend.
December is a tough month for WWE because of Christmas and superstars wanting time off for their families. The company will also have a stacked schedule heading into the new year with The Royal Rumble and then the kickoff to the road to WrestleMania 43.
John Cena will announce his Classic on RAW
Fans are waiting for Cena to provide an update on the Classic on RAW tonight, which could be the location which he provided on Instagram. In true Cena style, he didn’t add a caption to the post, which has left much to the imagination of fans.
It will be interesting to see what the setup of the Classic will be, since if it takes place on December 19th, it could run through January and up to the Royal Rumble.
There could even be a Royal Rumble stipulation added to the Classic itself, which would allow several up-and-coming names to be part of the annual event if they are able to win their chosen matches.
After months of questions regarding the Classic, it seems that Cena will finally be able to reveal the date, location and plans for the event.
