Chad Gable is not walking into Brooklyn quietly. The WWE Intercontinental Champion defends the title against Ethan Page on Monday Night RAW, and he has already warned the challenger that something dangerous is coming with him.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce confirmed the match in his Sunday preview. It is the go-home episode before Crown Jewel on November 7 in Riyadh, and Gable posted a message on Instagram addressed to the Brooklyn crowd.
Thanks for the submission!
The champion also claimed something dangerous was awaiting Page:
“Brooklyn, I am once again putting the Intercontinental Championship on the line. I hope this dude is ready for a fight, because this version of myself mixed with the momentum I’m building has created something dangerous. I look forward to seeing the fans blow the roof off this place tonight – Get Loud. Keep on runnin’…”
Check out Chad Gable’s comments below:
Gable won the title at WWE SummerSlam on August 2 in his hometown of Minneapolis, countering a Destroyer and forcing Penta to tap out to the ankle lock for the first singles championship of his WWE career after nearly 13 years with the company.
He has defended it multiple times since, including wins over Rey Fenix, Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio.
Ethan Page also sends major warning ahead of WWE IC title clash
Ethan Page has spent weeks insisting the champion kept finding reasons to avoid him. When Adam Pearce announced the bout, All Ego replied with a video on X built around a jab at Gable’s entrance music.
“Run, run, run. It’s all you do Chad, you run from me. Looks like I caught up.”
After Gable retained in the October 19 triple threat, Page and Big Cass stormed the ring. Cass chokeslammed Dragon Lee onto the ringside barricade, and Page hit Gable with a fisherman’s buster, raised the title above his head, then dropped him with a second.
Eight days later in Fresno, Page and Cass beat Gable and Dragon Lee in tag action, with Page planting the champion with an Ego-Plex on the floor. Gable stayed down and was checked by officials and medical staff while Lee finished the match alone.
For Page, this is the opportunity he has been demanding since arriving on WWE RAW after WrestleMania 42. For the champion, another title defense in front of a loud Brooklyn crowd would strengthen a reign already shaping up as the best work of his career.
