YouTuber Reginald “Reggie,” also known as “Lil Rodney Son,” has provided an update on Kai Cenat’s lawsuit against him, saying that “the court ruled that he has to stay away from that guy for 12 months.” For those unaware, on September 30, 2026, Kai Cenat announced that he intended to take legal action against Reggie after the latter accused him of grooming Twitch streamer RaKai.
While claiming that Reginald was “going too far” by making false allegations against him, Kai Cenat said:
“I am calling the cops! Yeah! I’m suing you, brother! Like, I’m suing you, bro! And I still have sympathy for you because I know you’re not yourself, bro. But it’s going too far! You’re playing with my name. You’re playing with my family’s food. You’re playing with my future kids’ food. That’s how deep it goes.”
On November 3, 2026, Reggie posted a series of Instagram Stories following his court appearance.
He wrote:
“Why they play my song in court lol they almost had me haha shoutout my lawyer ! The court ruled that I have to stay away from that guy for 12 months that’s all nun more nun less.”
Reggie claims he was “never getting sued” by Kai Cenat
On the same day (November 3, 2026), Reggie hosted a livestream on TikTok, during which he claimed that he was “never getting sued” by Kai Cenat.
He elaborated:
“‘You’re getting sued, not prosecuted.’ I was never getting sued. That was the 48. He can’t even sue me. See how that works? The judge ruled I gotta stay away from that guy for 12 months. I don’t have no intention of going around him. I don’t want to harm that guy. I don’t want to do nothing to that guy. I don’t want to do nothing to nobody. I am a *****. I just rap.”
Furthermore, the Twitch streamer stated that his experience in court was “amazing,” adding that he is a “free man”:
“The court was amazing, bro. Shout out to my lawyer. Hey, the court was amazing. My lawyer is a beast. Feel me? Shout out to my lawyer. I’m a free man. I’m finna buy a chain. I’m finna buy a chain tomorrow.”
As of this writing, Kai Cenat has not responded to Reggie’s recent claims amid their legal battle.
