AEW star Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., recently shared an interesting personal update.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion took to X to reveal that she cast her vote in the Orange County elections in Florida. Britt Baker uploaded a photo of a paper, possibly given to every voter, to reveal the same. You can check out her tweet below:
“#Vote.”
Britt Baker has been very actively posting about her personal life on social media for a long time. On the professional front, she has been absent from AEW for almost two years, with great uncertainty about her in-ring future. However, all speculation finally ended when The Doctor made her long-awaited return at the All In 2026 pay-per-view.
She turned heel, attacked Maya World, and aligned herself with Persephone. Since then, they have been a cohesive unit, while Baker has regained her footing in the AEW women’s division as a top in-ring athlete by delivering captivating matches regularly.
Persephone revealed the reason Britt Baker returned to AEW
In an interview with The Sportster, Britt Baker’s ally, Persephone, revealed the reason she returned from her prolonged hiatus. The former TBS Champion said she brought her back because she needed a strong partner like Baker to fend off many enemies she made while pursuing her goals in the Jacksonville-based wrestling promotion.
“Right now, in this moment, I got a lot of people asking me. I’ve got beef with a bunch of different people. Mind you, they didn’t ask for it, they just came bothering me. I think I need to put a little nail in each coffin before I can circle back around to what really bothers me and what I really want. I’ve beaten her once, we have each other’s number right now. I’ve beaten her once, I can do it again. No biggie. But, we’re going to wait because again, all these little girls are just bugging me, which is why we had to call in the doctor because it was getting to be too much,” Persephone said. [H/T: Fightful]
As the partnership between Baker and Persephone remains an exciting fixture on television, it remains to be seen what is next for the duo.
