Two more arrests have been made by police investigating the stabbing of five teenagers at a Halloween party in Hampshire.
Police were called shortly after 22:30 GMT on Saturday to a home in Park Road in Chandler’s Ford where an “unknown group” had gained entry to the event over a garden fence.
One boy, 17, remains in hospital in a serious condition. The other four boys, who were all injured, have since been discharged.
On Thursday, police said two 16-year-old boys from Southampton had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. This brings the total number of arrests to six.
Two 16-year-old boys from Southampton arrested earlier in the week remain in custody after the court granted officer more time to continue questioning them.
Two more boys, who were also arrested and questioned as part of the investigation, have been released on bail.

The officer leading the investigation, Det Ch Insp Elizabeth Pirie, said: “During an investigation like this one, information is provided to us which will require us to make an arrest in order to secure possible evidence and take someone’s account.
“We have been working closely with the CPS to assess the available evidence and review whether there is sufficient grounds for charges to be authorised or if there is additional enquiries which need to be made.
“Today, we have released two of the boys we have arrested on police bail while we continue with our investigation. This bail comes with strict conditions in place, and this is monitored to ensure those conditions are being complied with.”
Pirie said the force had a large number of officers working on the case as it tried to piece together the movements of those it believed were involved.
Hampshire Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses, and anyone who may have information, to come forward and has thanked those it has already spoken to.
Pirie added: “I know that for those who were at the party on Saturday, this has been a really distressing time, but their help has been so important.”
