The action continues in round 15 of the EFL Championship as Birmingham City and Swansea City square off at St. Andrew’s Stadium on Saturday. Both sides head into the weekend in contrasting form, with the Swans managing just three points from four matches since October 17.

High-flying Birmingham City turned in another dominant team display on Tuesday when they cruised to a 3-0 victory over Millwall after a first-half clinic at St. Andrew’s Stadium.

Thanks for the submission!

The Blues have won five of their most recent six matches, including three consecutive home victories against Preston North End, Queens Park Rangers and Millwall, with a 1-0 loss against Cardiff City on October 24 being the exception.

Birmingham City have picked up 26 points from their 14 Championship matches so far to sit third in the league standings, level on points with Stoke City and this weekend’s visitors.

On the other hand, Swansea City were sent crashing back to earth in midweek as they suffered a 3-1 defeat against Portsmouth when the two sides squared off at Fratton Park.

Before that, the Swans snapped their two-game losing run on October 31, when they secured a 4-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers on home turf thanks to goals from Stephen Eustáquio, Joseph Opoku, Filip Lissah and Ross Stewart.

Despite their recent woes, Swansea City remain in the upper echelons of the Championship standings, but they have plenty of work to do if they are to turn things around this weekend.
