While there’s a lot of uncertainty over WWE Crown Jewel 2026, due to take place in Saudi Arabia in less than two weeks, a new report has now shed light on WrestleMania 43’s status. Fightful Select has reported that The Show of Shows, also scheduled for the Middle Eastern country, is not planned to move to The Sphere in Las Vegas.
Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia, have cast a dark shadow over Crown Jewel. There have been bombings in the country that have reportedly made people in WWE anxious about traveling all the way there. Though the company is hesitant to call the Riyadh event off, if the issues persist, they might not have any other option but to pull the trigger.
Thanks for the submission!
Amid this, Fightful Select has shared an update on the global juggernaut possibly shifting WrestleMania 43 to The Sphere in Las Vegas. It was noted that there was absolutely no truth to the rumors, as the venue was booked during the Mania dates of April 10-11 by singer-songwriter John Mayer.
While Crown Jewel 2026’s status is up in the air, one can hope that things settle down until WrestleMania 43 rolls around roughly six months from now.
What has WWE scheduled for Crown Jewel 2026
So far, WWE has announced three big-ticket matches for the Riyadh show that could headline a PLE of their own. World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will go to war with either Sami Zayn or Trick Williams, whoever wins the Undisputed Title match on SmackDown, at the PLE.
In addition, the winner of the upcoming Women’s Title match between Chelsea Green and Nikki Bella will face the winner of Liv Morgan vs. Becky Lynch from today’s RAW. Moreover, friends-turned-rivals Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will go to war again, this time in a Last Man Standing Match. The latest addition to the card is the World Tag Team Title match, which will see The Vision put their gold on the line against Penta and Je’Von Evans, as Adam Pearce announced.
