AEW star Eddie Kingston is set to perform in a new role outside of All Elite Wrestling. He has been one of the most real stars on the roster, and fans easily connect with him. Throughout his run in the company, he has won the Continental Championship and ROH World Championship.
The Mad King hasn’t been seen on TV for a long time. The last time he was seen in the ring was in September. He wrestled on Collision in the Butcher Battle Royal after the Butcher passed away. He hasn’t been seen since. During his All Elite Wrestling absence, he was performing on different independent promotions. It seems like he doesn’t intend to return to the Jacksonville-based promotion, as he has been advertised for another promotion.
Mystery Wrestling recently took to Instagram and revealed that Eddie Kingston will be on commentary on November 28, 2026, in 2300 Arena.
AEW star Eddie Kingston dropped a major bombshell
At Progress Wrestling last month, Eddie Kingston wrestled Luke Jacobs in a great match. After the contest, the former Continental Champion delivered a great promo, shedding light on the passing of PAC and Butcher.
After the match, the Mad King said that after the passing of both stars, he didn’t leave his house for days. The former ROH World Champion claimed he wanted to leave the business. However, the immense love from the fans has supported him throughout these tough times.
“Life is a f-ed up place, but I wake up every morning and do this because of the fans. You fans put me into f*cking tears with some of your messages. After Andy and Ben passed away, I didn’t leave my house for five days and I wanted to leave this business. I f*cking love you guys. I don’t know why you guys like me but I thank you guys so much. Every time one of you hit me up and talk to me about your mental health and say I help you. No no no. You help me,” he said.
It will be interesting to see what is next for Eddie Kingston.
