Into the Tower’s Shadow is a World Quest in the First, Let the Earth Open Its Maw quest chain in Genshin Impact, and it automatically begins while you’re doing The Days of Old Were Days of Snow quest. During the quest, you must destroy the Blightkristalls to clear the way and shut down a Shadow Realm. It has one small puzzle, but it is still a pretty easy quest. Completing it will give you Primogems and other in-game rewards.

How to complete the Into the Tower’s Shadow quest in Genshin Impact

Search for the light-focusing pedestal and destroy the Blightkristall blocking the way

Into the Tower’s Shadow quest automatically starts in the middle of The Days of Old Were Days of Snow quest in Genshin Impact.

Pick up the lamp crystal and place it on the light-focusing pedestal. Next, use the pedestal and aim the light slightly to the left of the pickaxe.

Go deeper into the ruin and destroy all the rocks to reveal another pedestal and a couple of Blightkristalls.

Once you’ve destroyed the rocks, return to the first pedestal and get the temporary blueprint of the refraction Mechanism and place it on the light’s path. Next, change the direction of the light to the pedestal inside the ruin.

Destroy the Blightkristalls using the light.

Return to the first pedestal and redirect the light to the pedestal inside the ruin.
Place a new Refraction Mechanism across the bridge.
Use the second pedestal to redirect the light at the mechanism.
Use the mechanism to redirect the light and destroy the black crystal.

This will give you a Precious Chest and clear the way.

Get close to the Shadow Realm and continue onward

Enter the Shadow Realm and collect the new firearm blueprint. Next, head to the marked location and defeat all the enemies on the ground floor of the tower.

Climb to the tower summit and defeat the opponents near the elevator

Take the elevator to get to the top. However, several enemies will spawn around the elevator, and you must defeat all of them.

Look for the path forward and destroy the Blightkristall blocking the way

Once the elevator stops, get off and follow the quest navigation until you find a Blightkristall. Destroy it to call the elevator up.

Continue climbing to the tower summit and defeat the powerful foe blocking your path

Get on the elevator and go up. However, another enemy will show up, and you must defeat it.

Destroy the Blightkristall Core

Finally, reach the summit and destroy the Blightkristall Core. Once that is done, you’ll be back in the normal world, and it will complete the Into the Tower’s Shadow quest in Genshin Impact. As a reward, you’ll get 30 Primogems, some upgrade materials, and a Precious Chest.
