A Hall of Famer is interested in joining the WWE creative. Currently, Triple H oversees the creative direction of the promotion and works with a number of writers on storylines and characters.
The current setup also includes a bunch of veteran names in various positions, with the likes of Bruce Prichard and Michael Hayes overseeing a lot of aspects of the programming. With reports of Prichard possibly retiring after WrestleMania 43, there is a lot of buzz over who could step up in his role.

Amid this, former WWE Champion JBL has thrown his hat in the ring for a possible creative role in the company. During a recent edition of Something to Wrestle with, JBL was asked by a fan whether he would be interested in a creative or agent role within the Stamford-based promotion.
JBL said the creative role appeals to him, but he isn’t interested in becoming an agent to put the matches together.
“Not an agent, no. Good lord, no. Hell no. Creative, yeah. It hasn’t been offered, and there’s no talk of it. But yeah, creative, I’d be interested in. But agent, absolutely not,” he said.
He said that the company might make him an agent next week if he wants it, but said it will be hard for him given how the matches are put together these days.
“It’s fun talking over matches. It’s just these guys with matches today; you got to go over it with them from like start to finish. And I never did a match that way,” he added.
WWE reportedly held talks with Vince Russo
Recently, it was reported that Nick Khan met with former WWE and WCW writer Vince Russo, and they engaged in discussions over Russo’s return to the company.
Later, a report from PWInsider Elite mentioned that Russo had reached out to his former employers about a role in the company, but there was no further development in this regard.
Russo began working for the sports entertainment giant in 1992 and later became a key part of the writing team that heralded the Crash TV era in the company. He later went on to become the head writer and played a big role in turning the tide in WWE’s favor during the Monday Night Wars with WCW.
Russo left the promotion to join WCW in 1999 and remained with the company until it folded in 2001.
